Electromagnetism I (4302303)

This course is dedicated to the study of Electromagnetism and electromagnetic phenomena, providing an understanding of the principles that govern electric and magnetic fields and their interactions. Based on Maxwell's equations, the course delves into topics such as Electrostatics and Magnetostatics, material media and fundamental subjects in Electrodynamics, such as Ampere-Maxwell's Law, Faraday's Law and electromagnetic waves. Through a mix of mathematical rigor and physical intuition, we will explore implications of Maxwell's equations, as well as develop tools for solving complex problems in electromagnetism. Furthermore, the course also lays the foundations for understanding more advanced concepts in areas such as field theory.
